St
Lawrence Pre-School is a company limited by guarantee with charitable
status, run from a multi-purpose building, the pre-school uses the main
hall, a small room and has access to a fully fitted kitchen and its own
outdoor play area.
We
offer education in a safe, caring and friendly environment by providing
activities appropriate to children’s age and stage of development
We
follow, like all registered childcare providers, The Early Years
Foundation Stage Curriculum, which is a child centred curriculum that
children work through at their own level of development. We
provide a balance of child-selected activities and adult-led learning
both indoors and outdoors.
Our
high ratio of adults to children, allows us to give each child
individual attention and care. Children have a key person who will
support them during their time at Pre-School.
We
have a positive approach giving each child and their family equal
opportunities, regardless of race, colour, ability, gender, sexual
orientation or background.

We are a predominantly
Christian Pre-School that has an awareness of and celebrates other
faiths and festivals.

inspected by OFSTED (Office for standards in Education) A copy of their

for anyone who wishes to read it. In our last Ofsted inspection in 2008
we received a ‘GOOD’ result.
